Opening of Jade Textile Factory in Alexandria Attended by the Prime Minister

Jade Textile had the honor of welcoming Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly during the inauguration of the company’s ready-made garments factory in Borg El Arab, Alexandria. The event was attended by Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry, and Mr. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, and the guests were received by Mr. Orhan Girgin, General Manager of Jade Textile Alexandria, along with members of the company’s executive leadership team.

During the visit, the Prime Minister toured the factory’s latest production lines and manufacturing stages, emphasizing the importance of the ready-made garments sector in supporting the Egyptian economy, increasing exports, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Egyptian industry.

The factory is one of the largest industrial investments in Egypt’s ready-made garments sector, with investments approaching EGP 500 million. It is expected to generate annual exports ranging from USD 250 million to USD 500 million. Spanning 60,000 square meters, the facility will create more than 6,000 direct jobs, adding to Jade Textile’s workforce in Egypt, which exceeds 15,000 employees and workers.
