Jade Textile Opens New Alexandria Factory in the Presence of the Prime Minister

Jade Textile inaugurated its new ready-made garments factory in Borg El Arab, Alexandria, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, H.E. Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry, and Mr. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria. The delegation was received by Mr. Orhan Girgin, General Manager of Jade Textile Alexandria, alongside members of the company's executive leadership team.

During the inauguration, the Prime Minister toured the factory's production lines and manufacturing stages, reviewing the latest technologies and practices adopted across its operations. The visit highlighted the strategic importance of the ready-made garments sector in supporting Egypt's economy, increasing exports, and strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian industry in global markets.

The new facility represents a major industrial investment in Egypt's ready-made garments sector, with investments approaching EGP 500 million. Spanning 60,000 square meters, the factory is expected to create more than 6,000 direct job opportunities while expanding Jade Textile's production and export capabilities in Egypt.

The factory is also expected to generate annual exports ranging from USD 250 million to USD 500 million, contributing to Jade Textile's role in supporting Egypt's export growth and advancing the country's efforts to strengthen local manufacturing and increase value-added production.

The inauguration forms part of Jade Textile's long-term expansion strategy in Egypt, building on the global experience of Yeşim Group, which spans more than 40 years. The company continues to invest in advanced technologies and apply international standards across quality, sustainability, and innovation.
