Jade Textile and Egypt’s Ministry of Labor Strengthen Cooperation to Support Employment and Talent Development

As part of the Education for Employment initiative, which aims to strengthen public-private sector collaboration, Jade Textile participated in a meeting held at the headquarters of Egypt’s Ministry of Labour to discuss employment, talent development, and human capital development in line with the evolving needs of the labor market and industrial sector.

The meeting brought together Egypt’s Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad, Jade Textile CEO Selim Şankaya, Country Manager of Corporate Communications, Public and Government Relations Moataz Abu Bakr, and Country Human Resources Manager Saleh Nasr.

During the meeting, Jade Textile presented its 2030 vision, highlighting key priorities including expanding employment opportunities, developing human capital, strengthening the industrial ecosystem, and continuing to expand its production and export capabilities.

The company also shared its ambition to increase its workforce from 15,000 employees and workers to 30,000 in the coming years, alongside plans to expand production and strengthen export capacity. The growth strategy is expected to contribute to creating additional employment opportunities and supporting the continued development of Egypt’s industrial sector.

The discussions also emphasized the importance of education and employment initiatives in developing a qualified workforce equipped with the skills required to meet the evolving needs of the labor market and strengthen alignment between education outcomes and private-sector requirements.

Jade Textile’s participation reflects its commitment to investing in human capital and supporting talent development, recognizing that a skilled workforce is a key driver of industrial growth and the competitiveness of Egypt’s economy.
